ELINAS provides a platform for an exchange between physics, literature and literary criticism. The increasing relevance of links between literature, knowledge and the natural sciences is evident. The aesthetic modulations and rhetorical or narrative mediations of physical knowledge in both physical and literary texts are important research topics.
ELINAS intends to develop this research field historically and systematically by bringing together the competences in the fields of literary and cultural studies as well as the natural sciences available in the departments of FAU.
